Due to continued expansion, we're recruiting an experienced Team Leader to join our well established client.
Job Duties:
1. Manage a small team of production operatives, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
2. Manage the workload and distribution from manufacturing sheets/works orders to planned targets.
3. Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety and Welfare issues are communicated, implemented, and reviewed.
4. Promote the effective working of output, monitoring times to ensure efficiency, ensure lean practices are carried out.
5. Lead and contribute to working method improvements & create SOP's.
6. Provide training and mentorship to team members, enhancing their skills and knowledge.
7. Maintain accurate records and documentation.
8. Ensure that the company's quality requirements are met in full.
9. Assist and have input to R&D projects.
10. Ensure that quality standards (ISO) are achieved and maintained throughout.
11. Accurately record components and tests as required.
Requirements:
1. Ability to lead a team whether in, or out of a work environment.
2. Proven skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
3. Ability to delegate, regulate and promote improvements.
4. Can manage workloads under conflicting time restraints.
5. Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
6. Able to handle conflict and people issues.
Salary: £12.61 per hour + overtime.
Working hours: Monday to Thursday 07:30am - 4:30pm and Fridays 07:30am - 13:00pm.
This is a Full time, Permanent position.
