The role we are seeking to fill sits within the Business Transformation team in our Transportation business, which has an excellent record of delivery for a wide range of clients including some of the largest public and private sector organisations in the UK, particularly in rail, highways, and local transport markets. The Role: Our Business Transformation team is supporting leaders to think differently by re-aligning their strategic priorities, providing support to re-organise their businesses and develop processes to support new operations. We help uncover and then overcome cultural and organisational challenges which are hindering success. Your Purpose: We are looking to recruit talented individuals to join us who are passionate about delivering excellence in transformation and complex business change. Like the rest of our team, these individuals will take pride in delivering an authentic and hands-on-approach to understand our clients’ business challenges and help them achieve their ambitions. The roles we hope to fill will enhance our existing business consulting expertise; we have three Communities of Practice: Strategy and Transformation Planning, Operational and Organisational Excellence, and Sustainable Change and Engagement. Within these Communities of Practice, we support our clients with strategy setting, organisational and operational design, implementing and managing transformational change programmes, including cultural and behavioural leadership; business performance improvement; benefits realisation and complex stakeholder engagement. You will have responsibility for client-facing work from the outset. All our consultants are expected to have regular interactions with clients, contribute to work-streams or projects, and work with colleagues in delivering specific project outputs. You will be expected to support achievement of challenging operational and consultancy revenue targets, supporting bid writing/tendering and the development and delivery of our wider transportation strategy. The role will be based in our Manchester or York office. Travel to attend client sites across the UK is key. What you can bring: We are looking for people that bring a blend of consulting capabilities and techniques to suit different situations. Strategy development, operational improvement, effectiveness and organisational development. New and improved Operating Models, business process analysis and improvement, change impact and management techniques, cultural and behavioural development. Degree educated or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline would be preferred, but is not essential. Be a highly collaborative individual, capable of maximising the value of networks within and outside AtkinsRéalis, including with our market facing teams. It is also essential that you have excellent written communication skills and can present and deliver outcomes which are compelling, accurate, and engaging both to clients and in support of our business development and work winning activities.
