The Role: As a CNC Turning Programmer/Setter, you will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC turning machines, including multi-spindle, multi-turret machines (Miyano preferred) using Fanuc controls. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the production of high-quality aerospace components that meet strict industry standards. Key Responsibilities: ✅ Program & Set CNC Machines - Fully program machines online, set workpieces, fixtures, and tools for multi-axis turning centres. ✅ Operate CNC Machines - Work with Fanuc controls, troubleshoot, and optimize G-code programs. ✅ Quality & Compliance - Ensure adherence to GD&T, aerospace tolerances, and industry regulations. ✅ Continuous Improvement - Monitor OEE data (FourJaw) and contribute to production optimization. ✅ Collaboration & Documentation - Work closely with engineers, maintain accurate setup sheets, and support process improvements. What We're Looking For: Experience as a CNC Turning Programmer/Setter in a precision engineering environment. Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls, multi-axis turning, and CNC programming. Ability to read technical drawings and specifications accurately. Experience with Miyano machines (preferred but not essential).
