The Role: We are seeking a two motivated IT Helpers to support the deployment of Windows 11 to endpoints, working in our Windows 11 IT clinics across the campus. This role will involve assisting with upgrading systems, troubleshooting installation issues, and providing hands-on support to university staff.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in deploying Windows 11 to staff devices.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the upgrade process.
* Provide friendly and efficient support at IT clinics.
* Collaborate with the wider LIS community to ensure a smooth and timely rollout.
Requirements:
* Knowledge of Windows 10/11 operating systems.
* Ability to follow technical instructions and assist non-technical users.
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
* General knowledge of IT support and experience is desirable.
This is a fixed term appointment for 12 months.
