The successful candidate will be tasked with managing high profile accounts within the Automotive industry including; Jaguar Landrover, Honda, Toyota, Maclaren and Nissan with full responsibility for the management of the daily sales activities. The successful candidate will be expected to work autonomously and create his own market competencies The Local Account Manager will work in connection with a Sales Assistant, who will assist with admin activities e.g. order entry, shipment, follow up. Activities - Man Management Responsibility - Doing annual interviews - Ensure communication within the Customer Team - Ensure and manage communication between CT and CTS - Coordinate commercial relationships between customers & SSC, if needed Customer Relationship Management - Organise and attend regular customer visits - Create visit reports for each meeting with the customer - First Contact Person of the customer for day to day problems - Prepare yearly and quarterly sales plan for the local entity and contribute to multi year plan - Follow up of volume and price agreements of the local entity - Organise up-dates of sales plan if necessary - Review and optimise the order book according to strategic requirements of business - Analyse customer value chain and propose service improvements - Manage and improve supply chain for the local entity - Monitor delivery performance - Organise rush and emergency orders if required - Proposing and implementing actions related to value creation - Follow up of payments - Follow up of credit limits - Monitor working capital (stocks and overdues) - Perform customer satisfaction survey A Truly Outstanding Opportunity This is a unique opportunity for a candidate with a Steel sales background OR experience in account managing tier 1 automotive accounts to join a multinational conglomerate who are expanding whilst other producers involved in similar markets are retracting
