The Role
Reporting directly to the Group People Director, the Senior People Advisor will play a pivotal role in driving and delivering the People strategy. This varied position is ideal for a HR generalist who has a keen interest in Learning and Development.
For the right candidate, there are career progression opportunities into a People Manager or Learning and Development Manager role as our Group continues to grow.
You will be the Group's go-to expert for L&D initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development, while also supporting the full spectrum of HR activities to meet our strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Work closely with the Group People Director to implement our People strategy effectively across the Group.
* Coach and upskill our managers to develop highly engaged, high performing teams.
* Support our performance review process.
* Lead Learning and Development projects, identifying areas for growth and delivering innovative programmes to enhance talent development.
* Design and deliver training and work with external providers to build expertise across our teams.
* Access L&D grants and funding and maximise the apprenticeship levy.
* Act as a trusted advisor to teams across the Group, providing guidance on HR policies, processes, and best practice.
* Drive key initiatives including talent management, leadership development, and employee engagement.
* Work closely with and support our People and Resourcing Advisors, including resolving escalated queries.
* Travel to other sites to provide in-person support with People activities as needed.
About You
We’re looking for a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about people development. You should bring:
* Proven experience as an HR generalist with expertise in Learning and Development.
* Ideally qualified to CIPD L5 or equivalent. Study support is available.
* Experience in fast paced, high growth organisation is essential, food manufacturing experience is advantageous.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
* Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to inform decision-making.
* A proactive approach and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
* Ability to organise and prioritise workload in a busy, varied role.
* A dedication to employee engagement as a key driver of high performance.
* The drive to make a positive impact to team culture and business results.

Salary: £40 - £45K gross per annum (depending on skills and experience) + bonus
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, up to 2 days homeworking per week after initial training
Location: Brusco Head Office in Offenham near Evesham, with occasional travel to our other sites including Kent / Yorkshire / Cheltenham in line with business needs. (Travel is expected to average once per month).
