OVERVIEW
Establishing effective relationships with existing client teams and industry partners is a key aspect of the role to ensure successful outcomes. Candidate will need positive relationship management and networking skills.
There will be a significant tempo of task activity required to fully prepare for expiry which will include Asset and Equipment condition surveys, asset valuation, legal review, and contract obligations review. Some of these tasks will necessitate identification for commission and engagement of technical experts.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Scope / Tasks
* Identify requirement for external assistance; contribute to capability planning to ascertain additional requirements and resource, draft and submit business cases to obtain the resources required.
* Contribute to monthly forecasting of financial activity and output.
* Stakeholder management – prepare and maintain stakeholder management plans and actively engage as necessary with all relevant internal and external partners.
* Compile and provide reports and ad-hoc updates on activity and progress of requirements.
* Assist and facilitate activities associated with the expiry or termination of a contract and the transitioning of assets.
* Contribute to Data and asset information management: ensure this is managed in accordance with the client Data Migration Strategy for Regional Delivery.
* Contribute to the provision of formal support for policy development and functional subject area advice.
* Monitor compliance with client policy, determine actions to address significant risks using the Governance chain.
In addition to project management support the individual shall maintain Exit project artefacts in accordance with Programme, Portfolio and Project (P3M) principles as defined within Knowledge in Defence, maintaining Stakeholder Matrix, Responsible, Accountable, Consulted and Informed (RACI), Schedule, Risk Registers, Master Data Assumption List (MDAL) assumptions, constraints and dependencies.
Adopting existing mature project documents, Microsoft excel workbook and Microsoft Project Exit Schedule. maintained and developed Risk registers and Exit Schedule updated and issued at least monthly. Co-ordinate and lead monthly reviews including follow-up of actions and update associated documentation.

The project controls resource is expected to engage with project stakeholders to progress actions highlighted during meetings.

Qualifications and Experience:
* Significant Experience of leading and managing a project management team.
* APM PMQ/MSP/Prince 2 or similar desirable
o (APM Project Management Qualification; Managing Successful programmes Foundation; Managing Successful programmes Practitioner; Projects IN Controlled Environments 2 Foundation; Projects IN Controlled Environments 2 Practitioner)
o Relevant Post-Graduate qualification desirable.
