Field Support Engineer - North/North West M25 - UK Do you have previous experience as a Field Engineer within the water industry? Do you have a strong electronics / electrical background? We are working with a global business who are leaders in the manufacture, installation, and aftersales support of innovative water quality monitoring solutions. Due to a recent acquisition, they are looking to grow their team within the UK with the addition of a Field Support Engineer to be based in the North/North West part of the M25. This Field Support Engineer role will report into the Operations Manager and be responsible for clients within the Thames Valley region. They will be responsible for the installation and support all water quality monitoring solutions. The work will include but not be limited to installation and commissioning, preventative and reactive maintenance, customer technical support and customer training. Key functions for this Field Support Engineer include: Supporting, installing, and commissioning activities, field troubleshooting and upgrades. Carrying out routine maintenance both preventative and reactive primarily on customer sites. Creating reports of work undertaken at customer sites using MS Word and MS Excel. Training customers in installation and operation of equipment. Providing technical support via phone, email and the company customer services platform. Providing weekly reports on all customer support activities. Front end project management of customer roll out initiatives. Using data platforms to support deployment and maintenance activities. Essential requirements are: A background in electrical maintenance Experience as a field support engineer ideally within the water industry Comfortable in a customer facing role.
