Lunchtime Supervisor
Start Date: As soon as possible
Salary: £14.56 per hour (£6,759 per annum)
Hours: 11:30-1:30, Monday to Friday
Contract: Part Time and Term Time only. This is a one-year fixed term appointment to assess the business need for additional staff following the roll-out of Universal Free School meals. Unless reviewed and extended, the contract will end on or before July 2025.
About the School

About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Lunchtime team, providing supervision to our pupils during their lunchtime break. You will be confident and able to relate to all primary school aged children, and a team player, able to contribute to the overall aims of the wider catering and lunch team. The role will include maintaining a clean and tidy lunch area, ensuring food waste is appropriately disposed of as well as engaging children in fun and stimulating play activity whilst modelling acceptable behaviour on the playgrounds.
The Ideal candidate will have:
Shared high expectations of behaviour during play and mealtimes, with the ability to positively reinforce expectations to all pupils in an age appropriate manner
Shared sense of teamwork and flexibility, with a high level of importance placed on ensuring that the children's best interests are considered at all times
Previous experience working or volunteering in a primary school would be an advantage
Proven experience engaging children in play based activities and conversations, with the ability to relate to children of all ages
Paediatric First Aid qualification would be an advantage but a willingness to undertake the qualification is essential
