Musk Process Services, part of the Edwin James Group, is a leading independently owned property and infrastructure support services company delivering integrated building and facilities management services. Our team of over 1000 people works for and with a diverse Blue Chip client base across sectors including Manufacturing, Food, Government, and private programs. We are now recruiting for a site-based Reliability Engineer to join our team.
As the Reliability Engineer, you will be required to improve productivity by ensuring our clients' assets are effectively maintained and their plant is running reliably and safely. You will be based on-site at our clients' premises in Stowmarket.
Key Responsibilities
1. Identify and eliminate failure modes across production assets through focused projects and improvements.
2. Understand Condition Monitoring Techniques (vibration, acoustic, thermography) to drive proactive/predictive maintenance.
3. Have a sound understanding of Lubrication Principles.
4. Work closely with our client to ensure the delivery of Condition Based Monitoring program and identify energy saving opportunities.
5. Analyze and report CMMS data for improvement opportunities (MTBF, MTTR etc).
6. Deliver Site/Project KPI metrics.
7. Use CMMS data to optimize existing Asset Care Strategy.
Skills / Experience
1. Hold relevant Electrical / Mechanical qualifications, e.g., C&G/NVQ/HNC.
2. Understanding of Condition Monitoring Techniques (vibration, acoustic, thermography).
3. Sound understanding of Lubrication Principles.
4. Good Industrial maintenance engineering background with an understanding of Reliability techniques such as Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM).
5. Proven track record dealing with, maintaining, and improving mechanical and electrical equipment and services.
6. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with all levels.
7. Able to work within a team environment.
8. Strong analytical skills.
