Software Engineer Opportunity at a Leading Aerospace Company
Are you a talented Software Engineer looking to join a dynamic and innovative team? This company is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to contribute to the development of a cutting-edge management system for a new satellite project.
As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing features within an agile environment. You will work closely with a 7-member Scrum team to deliver high-quality code and collaborate on all stages of the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop code using Java Core (version 8+), Spring Boot, and Spring Framework
2. Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
3. Utilize software design patterns and distributed systems knowledge
4. Participate in Agile development processes, including task estimation and sprint planning
5. Contribute to the continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) delivery pipeline
6. Leverage source code management tools, such as Git, and issue tracking systems like Jira
Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Proficient in Java Core (version 8+), Spring Boot, and Spring Framework
2. Experience in developing within a microservices architecture and working with RESTful APIs
3. Knowledge of software design patterns and distributed systems
4. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and CI/CD practices
5. Ability to work effectively within a team environment and interact with stakeholders
6. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
7. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
