An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ICT Projects and Liaison Manager to join the ICT Management Team. This is a permanent full time post working 35 hours per week based in Helensburgh or Lochgilphead.
The ICT Projects and Liaison Manager is integral to the ICT Management Team and leads an accomplished team of Project Leaders, Client Liaison Officers and Applications Support staff.
You will support the ICT and Digital Manager to deliver high quality ICT services to the Council, by identifying opportunities for service improvement and efficiencies through corporate or cross-cutting IT solutions, by establishing and managing an ongoing programme of projects to develop and implement these.
You will help develop the team’s strategic objectives and service plans by working with internal and external colleagues and taking personal responsibility for planning how these are delivered to service users. You will manage statutory compliance with PCIDSS, assist the ICT and Digital Manager to administer and manage the ICT Capital and Revenue budgets, and ensure best practice in regard to the projects, liaison, and application environments.
You should be a self-motivated ICT professional, a Prince2 Practitioner, with experience of projects, liaison, application trends, strategy and implementation and possess excellent communication and presentation skills. You must be highly organised, self motivated and equally able towork under your own initiative or collaboratively with others. You must be an effective communicator both in writing and verbally with the ability to motivate others and be persuasive and confident in a mix of team and formal forum situations.
