Role Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will inspire and engage students in the study of science, promoting a love for the subject and encouraging scientific curiosity. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality science education to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. Key Responsibilities: • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging science lessons. • Develop students' skills in various scientific disciplines, including biology, chemistry, and physics. • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support. • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement. • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the science curriculum and participate in school-wide events. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the science curriculum and innovative teaching practices. • Contribute to the organization and supervision of extracurricular science activities, such as science clubs and fairs. Requirements: • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. • A degree in Science or a related field. • Demonstrated experience in teaching science, preferably within a secondary school setting. • Strong subject knowledge in biology, chemistry, and/or physics. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. Desirable: • Experience in teaching A-Level science subjects. • Familiarity with the latest educational technologies and their application in the classroom.
