What You Become a Part Of
Working as part of the Great Britain in-house legal team you will quickly become an integral contributor to the overall team drive to support the business as a fully integrated strategic business partner. Through commercially focused legal advice and coaching you will create maximum value and competitive advantage for the GB business.
What To Expect of the Role
You will join a strong and supportive in-house team with the aim of maximizing value and creating sustainable competitive advantage for the Great Britain business through commercially focused advice. You will get the opportunity to work directly with business colleagues as you promote commercial and competition law knowledge to enable us to win in the marketplace whilst fully complying with all legal requirementsand ensuring that your advice is well understood and appropriately factored into the decision making process.
What We Expect from You
You may have worked in private practice or already have in-house experience, along with a relevant degree and English legal qualification. Ideally you will ideally have between 1-3 years’ PQE although all candidates (including newly qualified lawyers) with demonstrable ability to fulfil the role will be considered. You will be a team member who is passionate about the business and the success of the team; can demonstrate strong interpersonal skills; is adept at engaging with people at all levels within the organisation and is able to give pragmatic, business focused legal advice designed to maximise value for the business; and who has good written and oral communication skills.
Your main areas of responsibility will include acting as a point of contact for our commercial teams on matters of competition law, working closely with our sales teams to negotiate trading contracts with customers, preparing our business for changes in legislation and regulation, working with legal teams from different countries on projects that affect the wider CCEP business in collaboration and delivering ongoing legal training to our commercial teams.
