Key Accountabilities
* Engages in the Safety-First culture and compliance with AB internal policies and procedures and comply with all legal requirements for HGV Drivers
* To always drive Company vehicles to high standards of safety and courtesy, including compliance with the Highway Code and any Company standards
* To apply SAFED driving techniques, in order to maximise levels of safety and fuel efficiency
* To complete daily vehicle checks in line with company standards
* Maintain & comply with tachograph records, company key control procedures & working time regulations
* To report immediately to the FLM any variations to required standards of product quality and service levels
* To follow Company standards and procedures for working with, and accounting for, Company products and equipment, e.g. bread baskets, pallets, store returns and buffer stock.
* To comply with all Company requirements for Driver training and communications
* To carry out any duties, as required by the Company, e.g. unloading, refuelling and washing vehicles and in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).

* Experienced Professional Driver Category 1 (Category C+E) – Essential
* Driver Qualification Card (CPC)
* Conscientious and flexible – Essential
* Good interpersonal skills ability to effectively communicate with and influence others
