Sanctuary Personnel are seeking a dedicated and passionate Physics Teacher to join our school’s science department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physics and a commitment to fostering a love for science in students. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and informative lessons that promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and a deeper understanding of physics concepts.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality physics lessons to students in accordance with the curriculum.
2. Develop engaging and interactive teaching methods to encourage student participation and interest.
3. Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
4. Prepare students for examinations and guide them in practical laboratory work.
5. Ensure all health and safety standards are followed during laboratory activities.
6. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve the physics curriculum.
7. Provide academic support to students through regular office hours or tutoring sessions.
8. Participate in departmental meetings, school events, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Physics or related field (Master’s preferred).
2. Teaching certification or licensure in Physics (depending on regional requirements).
3. Strong knowledge of physics concepts and practical applications.
4. Previous teaching experience in a high school or similar educational setting preferred.
5. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
