80 DAYS is looking for a .NET developer to become an integral part of the development team.
This is a new position within the agency and will play a pivotal role in the ongoing support and maintenance of our existing customers' websites, as well as the opportunity to shape how we develop innovative web experiences in the future.
This role is to be based in our Edinburgh office, with 3/2 Hybrid Working
Key Responsibilities
* Website Support: Problem-solving and applying development fixes and enhancements to support existing websites.
* Back-end development co-ordination: Work alongside back-end development partners to ensure a consistency of approach.
* DevOps: Support our team in maintaining our Hosting, Domain, and Licensing solutions.
* Team Collaboration: Working alongside Project Management, Design, Front- and Back-end Development teams to deliver the best possible service to 80 DAYS’ customers.
Skills & Experience
* 2 years’ experience in a similar role is preferred, ideally within an agency environment.
* Demonstrable experience working in .NET and, ideally, with Umbraco specifically (though Umbraco training may be offered if needed).
* Knowledge of version control software such as Git.
* Basic Adobe Photoshop or XD skills.
* An up-to-date knowledge of industry needs such as cross-device, responsive layouts, and page speed optimisation.
* An understanding of systems development life cycle processes, such as Waterfall and Agile.
* Knowledge of productivity tools such as Slack, Teams, Clickup, Trello, etc.
