About the role
An exceptional opportunity awaits within our Private Clients division in Belfast. We are seeking a highly motivated newly qualified Accountant or an experienced tax professional with Big 4 background to join our team. This role is ideal for someone eager to transition into a career within wealth management, embrace a new challenge, collaborate with talented colleagues, and contribute to the growth of Northern Ireland's leading Wealth Management firm .

Requirements
In the role, the successful candidate will:
* Develop customised financial plans that consider tax implications for individuals, families, and businesses.
* Provide strategic advice on retirement planning, estate planning, investments, and tax-advantaged savings.
* Stay current with tax updates, UK budgets, and update clients on potential impacts to their financial plans.
* Develop relationships with key intermediaries and professional service firms.
* Conduct in-depth reviews of client portfolios to assess tax savings opportunities.
* Help devise and proactively implement business development strategies.
* Collaborate with other financial advisors and investment professionals to align on client strategies and optimise outcomes.
* Serve as a key point of contact for tax inquiries and financial planning advice, building strong client relationships and trust.
About you
* We are looking for somebody who has the following background and skills:
* Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
* Newly qualified Accountant or equivalent experience from a Big 4 firm.
* Ideal candidate will be keen to develop a career within the wealth management industry, with an ambition to advise clients as a Wealth Manager in the future.
* Relevant demonstrable experience in personal tax and/or corporate tax would be advantageous.
* Self-motivated and entrepreneurial in nature, with strong planning and organisational skills.
* Strong analytical skills, with a proactive approach to solving complex client needs.
* Excellent communication skills and a client-centric mindset.
