This role will maintain relationships with current and new suppliers, securing livestock at the given weekly price on farm or market. Delivering stock to plan, managing stakeholder relationships across the site, planning and sales.

Buying Manager – Livestock Woodhead Brothers, Turriff

We are looking for a Buyer to join our Livestock team at our Woodhead Brothers Turriff site. This role will maintain relationships with current and new suppliers, securing livestock at the given weekly price on farm or market. Delivering stock to plan, managing stakeholder relationships across the site, planning and sales. Direct line management of two team members.

The Role
Build relationships with suppliers, visiting regularly and secure livestock from farms at the weekly price
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, transport, and the abattoir, to deliver livestock to plan.
Review supplier performance, including Weights/Grades/Spec of Cattle & Lambs supplied
Aid in facilitating Myton's Welfare & Sustainability policies.
