This is a rare opportunity to join a global business at a pivotal time of growth. You’ll be leading maintenance across multiple UK sites, shaping the engineering strategy and driving continuous improvement in a business that genuinely invests in the latest technology, innovation, and people development.
Why this opportunity stands out:
This isn’t just a maintenance role—it’s a leadership platform. You’ll be trusted to build, lead, and evolve a multi-site engineering team, with the autonomy to make key decisions that directly impact performance. You’ll have the freedom to implement improvements, introduce best practices, and influence long-term business outcomes.
You’ll be joining an international supply chain and logistics specialist operating at the forefront of temperature-controlled solutions. They pride themselves on being ahead of the curve—whether through cutting-edge technology, progressive training, or a people-first culture—and they’re looking for a like-minded leader to match.
What you’ll be doing:
* Leading and managing all maintenance activities across multiple cold storage and refrigeration sites in the UK
* Building and developing a high-performing team of engineers
* Driving site improvements and rolling out engineering best practices
* Taking full responsibility for compliance, performance, and reliability across all locations
* Working closely with senior stakeholders to support the business’s wider growth objectives
What they’re looking for:
* A proven Maintenance Manager or Senior Maintenance Engineer with strong leadership capability
* A background in manufacturing, logistics, warehousing or distribution environments
* Hands-on engineering knowledge, either electrical or mechanical
* A natural leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys solving problems at scale
* Relevant engineering qualifications (City & Guilds, NVQ, HNC/HND)
What’s in it for you?
* A key leadership role in a global organisation
* Real influence over strategy, team development and operational delivery
* Long-term career progression with scope to grow further within the business
* A supportive culture that values ideas, initiative, and impact
If you're ready to step into a role where you’ll lead from the front, drive positive change, and be part of a forward-thinking business that values your expertise—this is the opportunity you’ve been waiting for.
