ThisjobispartoftheEngineeringandTechnicalServicesjobfunction.Theyareresponsibleforupkeepofthebuilding andits infrastructure.Their roleisto maintain buildingoperationsandensurethat thefacilitiesarealways safeandfunctional - Job Responsibilities - Supportenergymanagementby ensuringallbuildingsystemsareoperatingefficiently · Conductroutinemaintenanceinspections,diagnosepotentialproblems,andmakerepairs. · Inspecting equipment, buildings and systems, including heating, ventilation and air conditioning, Water Systems Treatment, shutterdoors, meterreadingand otherPM tasks within the CAFM system · Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels etc.) · Respond to technical issues affecting the building & facility managementequipment and maintain servicesthrough Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) · Completingsmallrepairssuchasfixinglocks,toilets,leakytapsbrokendoors andwindows. · Checkingandmaintaining safety equipmentsuchasweekly firealarms,fireextinguishers,intruderalarm,rooffall arrest anchors, but not limited to. · GoodunderstandingofCAFMsystem · Responsible for operating theCAFM System to close completed facility managementPPM's and reactive workcorrectly in line with service delivery. · Abletoorganiseworkloadandmanagethecompletionofthefacilitymanagementplanned&reactivetasks. · Formulating, Assessing and Validating Risk Assessments, Method Statements from subcontractor prior tocommencing work. · Ensuringall specialistservicecontractorspaperworkincludingreportsheets, Authoritytoworks, RAMS/Permitto works filled in CBRE QHSE e-logbooks to maintain excellent recording keeping · Abletodeliverconsistentlyhighstandardswithinpressurisedsituationsandhaveagoodknowledgeofcurrentlegislationregarding Health &Safety,RAMS/PTW, Quality,COSHH, British/Europeanstandards. · Highlightdefaults/failingswithcriticalmaintenanceequipmenttoSiteLeadSupervisorsoopendialoguecanbehad with our client and plansto mitigate riskto equipment. · Bring forward new innovative ideas toSite Lead Supervisortobe presented to our client to demonstratecontinuous improvementin the contract · In-depthknowledgeofMicrosoftOfficeproducts.ExamplesincludeWord,Excel,Outlook,etc Qualifications needed: - High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-3 years of job-related experience. Completion of a formal apprenticeship program preferred. - Valid Driver's license required. - Educated to a minimum of City & Guilds level 3, BTec National Diploma Level 3, IVQ Technician Diploma or equivalent NVQ level 3 qualification - Knowledge of current technical standards in relation to Fire Alarm Systems, Mechanical and Electrical Services, chillers, Water Systems Treatment and plant rooms - A good understanding of fault diagnostic techniques - Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more. - Able to deliver consistently high standards within pressurised situations and have a good knowledge of current legislation regarding Health & Safety, RAMS/PTW, Quality, COSHH, British/European standards. - Good understanding of CAFM system - In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. - Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems. - Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents. - Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset. - Advanced math skills: add, subtract, multiply, divide.
