Role Overview:
As a Wills and Probate Specialist, you will:
* Report directly to the Board, ensuring performance targets are met.
* Provide a professional, proactive approach with strong client care skills.
* Supervise a team of solicitors, trainees, and paralegals.
* Manage a diverse caseload, including estate administration, grant of probate, trust setup, inheritance tax advice, and contested wills.
* Attend clients, take instructions, and prepare cases.
* Maintain accurate time costing procedures and ensure compliance with file management.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years PQE with a clean, valid Practising Certificate.
- Proven supervisory experience and ability to work to key performance indicators.
- Exceptional client care skills, with the ability to handle sensitive matters.
- Strong networking and communication skills to market the firm and generate new business.
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Extensive experience in Wills and Probate work, with advocacy experience being advantageous.
- STEP qualification is preferable but not essential.
