The role of Marketing Manager: This is a brand-new role in the marketing organisation, designed to create a best-in-class marketing operations framework that will allow the marketing team to grow and the business to hit various objectives for the rest of the year.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing Operations, this role will sit in the Central Marketing function, alongside Brand and Demand Generation. This role will support key team and company objectives of:
* Enhancing cross-sell opportunities
* Allow for projects to be delivered on time
* Support the wider business in meeting their business goals
The Marketing Manager will manage the client’s marketing operation activities and will be an active user of the tech stack – encouraging other team members to use the tools as and when appropriate. The role holder will be expected to build and deliver email nurture campaigns, manage the website via a CMS, manage the SEO agency and collaborate with freelance writers.
Day to day responsibilities of the Marketing Manager include:
* Utilise the CMS to manage the company website -minimise errors and ensure content is engaging.
* Work with an external marketing agency to ensure SEO best practice is maintained and relevant tags are being applied
* Run all of the marketing automation activity – put in place email marketing cadences and ensure that campaigns are tracked
* Report on all things marketing – provide the team with weekly lead data, social impressions and utilise the ROI dashboard
To be considered for this role you must have the following:
* 5+ years’ B2B marketing experience
* Experience with a marketing automation platform such as Salesforce marketing cloud or similar.
* Experience in managing websites and utilising a CMS.
* Strong understanding of tools like Google Analytics and Hootsuite.
* Willing and unafraid to embrace change to drive improvement.
* Experience in developing marketing content – case studies and collateral
* Strong business awareness and commercial mindset
