Job Summary: JD Logistics is seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled System Maintenance Specialist to join our growing IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing JD Logistics’ core systems, infrastructure, and software platforms. You will work closely with various teams to ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of mission-critical systems, while minimizing downtime and improving operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: System Monitoring & Troubleshooting : Continuously monitor the performance of logistics software, warehouse management systems (WMS), and other key platforms. Investigate system alerts, identify root causes of issues, and resolve them in a timely manner. Routine System Maintenance : Conduct regular system updates, patches, and backups for all relevant hardware and software to ensure smooth and secure operations. Incident Management : Respond promptly to system failures, critical incidents, and downtime events. Effectively communicate with internal stakeholders and ensure timely resolution to minimize disruption to operations. Optimization : Analyze system performance metrics and propose improvements to enhance system efficiency, scalability, and reliability. This includes hardware upgrades, software optimizations, and database performance tuning. Documentation & Reporting : Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of system configurations, maintenance activities, and incident resolutions. Prepare regular reports for the IT management team on system health and performance. Collaboration & Support : Work closely with other IT teams, logistics departments, and external vendors to coordinate system upgrades, troubleshooting, and technical support. Provide technical assistance to staff when necessary. Security & Compliance : Ensure systems comply with JD Logistics' security standards and best practices, including regular vulnerability assessments, security patches, and compliance audits. Emergency Response : Provide support during emergencies or critical issues, including off-hours or weekend on-call support when required. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. Minimum of 1 year of experience in system maintenance, IT support, or related roles. Strong understanding of system administration, including Linux/Unix and Windows environments. Hands-on experience with database management (e.g., MySQL, Oracle) and network infrastructure. Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation tasks. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Knowledge of logistics or supply chain management systems is a plus. Preferred Skills: Certifications such as ITIL, CompTIA A, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), or equivalent. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or logistics-specific software. Experience in system performance monitoring tools like Nagios, Zabbix, or similar. Chinese fluency is highly preferred
