Staffbase has been appointed to recruit for the position of Maintenance Engineer to undertake planned and reactive maintenance activities at our client's busy recycling plant near Cannock.
The Role:
Reporting to the Engineering Director, you will be responsible for delivering effective planned and reactive electrical and mechanical maintenance activities. Duties will include but are not limited to the following:
1. 3 phase electrical fault find and repair, motors, inverters, contactors, sensors, relays, control panels, etc.
2. Mechanical maintenance and repair, conveyors, crushers, granulators, hammer mills, and more.
3. Hydraulics, pumps, motors, gear boxes, bearings, etc.
4. Ensure all relevant paperwork is accurately completed.
5. General site maintenance duties.
Candidate:
You will be an experienced multi-skilled engineer, ideally with previous maintenance experience in a heavy industry environment such as recycling, aggregates, or foundry sectors.
You will have excellent electrical and mechanical engineering skills and ideally possess formal electrical and mechanical engineering qualifications, e.g., NVQ, HNC, or 18th edition wiring regulations.
Applicants will be hard working, highly motivated, and capable of developing an effective maintenance function.
Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday, 40 hours + OT.
