Responsibilities:
* Managing business (Customers, Projects, turnover, discount) within a defined area.
* Maintaining and building new customer trading relationships.
* Growing market share within a geographical area.
* Working closely with Sales Managers to identify and target new Customers.
* Developing, maintaining and growing turnovers from existing Customers.
* Developing and maintaining a project pipeline for your geographical area.
* Working closely with Sales Managers to deliver annual personal targets.
* Working closely with Customers to manage queries/complaints.
* Working closely with Customers to manage debt.
* Negotiating trading agreements and discount levels with Customers.
* Operating within the company financial guidelines.
* Working closely with Sales Managers to ensure the most cost effective and profitable solutions are given to the Customer.
* Relationship building with both new and existing Customers.
* Forming relationships with technical staff and Customers to promote efficient use of products.
* Representing the Sales Team to collaborate with and support other regions.
* Reporting on business activity.
Skills Required:
* Previous experience selling within the Construction Industry or Civil Engineering
* Business Development Experience selling into Rail/Waterworks/Highways/Power Grids
* Drive/Ambition
* Excellent communication skills/relationship builder
* Target driven/Goal orientated
* Flexible to travel and some overnight stops as required
