This is a fantastic opportunity to take the lead on UK VAT and Corporation Tax matters while contributing to process improvements and supporting wider projects. Key responsibilities: Lead on the preparation and submission of VAT and Corporation Tax returns Provide expert tax advice to colleagues across the organisation Review and improve tax processes and controls Keep up to date with HMRC guidance and ensure compliance Support on training and upskilling the wider team on tax awareness Contribute to ongoing systems and process development About you: You’ll be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA) or Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) with: Experience preparing VAT and Corporation Tax returns A good working knowledge of HMRC guidance, particularly around charities Strong Excel and communication skills A collaborative approach and enthusiasm for improving systems and sharing knowledge Experience in the charity sector and knowledge of partial exemption or reverse charge VAT would be a real bonus.
