We are currently working with a 3 form entry school, based in Ealing,who are looking for a passionate and dedicated Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SENTA) to join the ARP of the school. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children with autism and support them in their journey towards achieving their full potential.The ARP supports children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and aims to provide tailored support, helping pupils thrive academically, socially, and emotionally within a mainstream school setting.
About the role:
As a SENTA in the ARP, you will be working closely with children with autism, supporting their learning and development within both the ARP and the mainstream school environment. You will be instrumental in ensuring that our pupils can access the curriculum and engage with their peers, as well as supporting their emotional, social, and behavioral needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-to-one and small group support for children with autism within the ARP and the mainstream classroom.
Work collaboratively with class teachers, the ARP team, and other professionals to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Support students with communication, social interaction, and emotional regulation using tailored strategies.
Help students build self-esteem, confidence, and independence in a school setting.
