Pay Rate
£11.44 per hour + overtime rates + performance bonus scheme
About the Plant Nursery Role:
The work at the nurseries involves field-based open nursery operations and poly-house nursery operations, for the growing, tending, processing, and supply of bare root and container-grown forest transplants. Responsibilities include:
* lifting plants
* grading plants
* packing plants
* chemical (gazelle) treatment
* lining out seedlings and rooted cuttings
* taking cuttings and hand weeding
* cutting down trees
* heavy lifting

Hours of work:
Week one: Monday – Friday, 07:15 – 16:00
Week two: Monday – Thursday, 07:15 – 16:00
Driving license essential due to location of work.
