About the role
We are looking to recruit a maths teacher in the Kingswinford area. The school offer a supportive and inclusive environment for both staff and students. We are currently looking for a dedicated and dynamic Maths Teacher to join our team and inspire students to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Teach Maths across various year groups, ensuring a challenging and stimulating learning environment.
* Plan and deliver lessons that engage students, promoting both understanding and enthusiasm for the subject.
* Assess students’ progress and provide feedback to help them improve.
* Manage classroom behavior and create a positive, respectful atmosphere conducive to learning.
* Contribute to departmental meetings and collaborate with colleagues to develop teaching materials and resources.
* Support the overall development of the curriculum and participate in extra-curricular activities where applicable.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics and the ability to teach across various key stages.
* A genuine passion for teaching and inspiring young people.
* Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to differentiate lessons to meet the needs of diverse learners.
Previous teaching experience in a secondary school is essential

* UK Teaching experience
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
* UK PGCE in Maths
