Job Title: Electrical Field Service Engineer
Location: Remote (ideally based in West/North London up to Midlands)
Our client is a global leader in the manufacturing and supply of high-quality fire systems and devices. They are proud to offer an exciting opportunity for a Field Service Engineer specialising in emergency lighting systems. This is a fantastic chance to join a leading company in the industry, offering a dynamic role where you'll be responsible for commissioning, maintaining, and diagnosing systems across the UK.
What You'll Do:
1. Commission a wide range of emergency lighting systems ensuring compliance with BS5266 standards.
2. Perform routine maintenance and fault rectification to ensure systems operate effectively.
3. Conduct fault diagnosis on systems and carry out the necessary corrective work.
4. Provide detailed reports on completed tasks and highlight any recommendations.
5. Build and maintain strong communication with clients to ensure excellent customer service.
Key Requirements:
1. Qualified Electrician (Time-Served Apprenticeship, C&G or NVQ minimum).
2. Strong knowledge of BS5266 standards.
3. Ability to travel across the UK, including overnight stays up to a week at a time.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
5. Excellent listening, communication, and influencing skills.
Salary & Benefits:
£32,000 base salary plus realistic overtime earnings (up to 50% of base salary). Travel and overnight expenses fully covered. Travel likely to be in West/North London up to Midlands. Full-time, 37-hour contract with flexible overtime depending on workload.
