Towerview care are recruiting for a Clinical Lead to join our team at Smithy Bridge. The role includes; Assessing, planning implementing and evaluating plans of care Delivering care Participation in the recruitment of clincial facing staff The performance management of nursing staff as part of reflective practice Formulation of nurses personal development plans Leadership for the team on a shift by shift bases Supporting nursing staff in collating information, analysis and action plans. Working proactively with the Matron to drive forward standards of nursing practice across the home at all times and ensure that safeguards are implemented to minimise harm to self or others Key Responsibilities: To effectively lead the shift ensuring the allocation of staff is based on clinical need The Snr Staff Nurse will be responsible for providing, receiving, and acting upon highly complex, highly sensitive and contentious information from a variety of sources including key stakeholders, both internal and external The Snr Staff Nurse is clinically accountable for the clinical care of the PWS at Towerview Care. They have the authority to ensure the best use of the resources necessary to provide a quality of clinical care. The Snr Staff Nurse will ensure that the quality of the service user experience is improved by providing front line employees with the necessary guidance, mentoring and hands on support to prevent or to remedy shortcomings or failings in practice, care delivery or maintenance of caring, safe therapeutic environment. The Snr Staff Nurse is responsible for developing and implementing quality standards across the service by strengthening professional clinical leadership at team and service area level. The Snr Staff Nurse will work with the Matron, Qualified Nurses and Carers to monitor, challenge and improve the quality of care across the service. They will be responsible for driving forward and sustaining meaningful changes to service care pathways enabling Towerview Care to become a Centre of Excellence with an important role in leading and co-ordinating the service improvement. The Snr Staff Nurse will be accountable for ensuring that effective communication pathways exist for People we support, their careers and all members of the multi-disciplinary team, The Snr Staff Nurse will advise the team on professional and practice issues in consultation with the Matron on the provision of professional advice to nursing and non-nursing staff at all levels across Towerview Care in relation to clinical matters. The snr staff nurse will be expected to be a superuser for clinical systems To participate in care home on call service as requested. About you: We are looking for someone who is warm, friendly and empathetic to the needs of the people we support. You will have good organisational skills, able to communicate effectively and the ability to build rapport to positively influence others. You will be comfortable with using technology. Experience in a similar environment would be ideal but not essential as we will make sure you have the training and support you need to develop your knowledge and skills.
