Job Description
SRG are looking for a Customer Development Manager to join a leading multinational consumer goods company. You will be reporting into the UK&I Country Leader, Enterprise Markets, with full accountability for achieving sales growth, share, and profitability for a customer portfolio mix aligned to your career ambitions and experience levels. You will be responsible for building consumer-led joint business plans that facilitate sustainable growth for both the consumer and in-house. Through collaboration with your cross-functional team, you will develop activation plans to help unlock the category opportunities agreed with your customer.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Strong customer focus with the ability to develop consumer-led joint strategies
2. Proven experience of successfully forging and maintaining business relationships
3. Able to present recommendations in an influential manner
4. Excellent networking and stakeholder management skills
5. Strong commercial acumen - highly numerate, with strong analytical skills
6. Solid communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
7. Outstanding interpersonal and collaboration skills
8. Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
9. Experience of sales forecasting and profit modeling for your own business and the retailer
Experience and Qualifications
1. Education to degree level preferred
2. Recent experience of working within FMCG
3. Front line customer management experience
4. Relevant experience of using category and retailer data sources
5. Proven track record of developing sustainable JBPs and delivering business results
