You will work within our Growth and Technical Team to plan, manage, and deliver projects aligned with the Company’s strategic goals, including new site openings, refurbishments, and technical or product improvements..
The opportunity for you:
You will be responsible for developing project plans, coordinating internal and external resources, and ensuring timely delivery of milestones within budget and scope. Through proactive stakeholder management, risk assessment, and process optimisation, the role will drive accountability, resolve challenges, and ensure successful project outcomes.
This role will involve regular travel to our sites across the UK.
What we need you to do:
* Plan and deliver projects agreed with Chief Growth and Technical Officer, including new site openings, site refurbishments and technical and product improvements
* Create project plans with key milestones and delivery points
* Monitor performance of agreed timing of projects via stakeholder meetings, ensuring accountability is driven with action owners and they are held account for slippage
* Proactively address any project issues and escalate when necessary to ensure resolution.
* Review and improve project management processes, tools, and techniques to optimise efficiency.
* Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for project execution.
* Prepare and deliver regular status reports, highlighting risks, blockers, and project metrics.
* Active stakeholder management to clarify requirements and agree project objectives and priorities. Maintain stakeholder involvement in key decisions.
* Manage project risk and opportunities effectively - take responsibility for the identification, allocation and management of the project risk and opportunities, taking effective mitigation measures to reduce risk.
* To manage suppliers and sub-contractors for all project services.
What we need from you:
* Proven Project Management experience, ideally managing operationally important projects for example site opening or construction, technical upgrades
* Relevant Project Management qualification
* Strong track record in developing and executing project plans, risk assessment and contingency planning
* Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage external vendors/suppliers
* Experience improving project management processes and implementing tools to drive efficiency.
* Familiarity with supplier and subcontractor management practices as well as regulatory and compliance considerations for site openings or refurbishments
* Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including experience with stakeholder management and negotiation.
* Proactive and results-oriented, with a focus on accountability and ownership of project outcomes.
* Resilient and adaptable, capable of managing tight deadlines and evolving project scopes.
* UK Driving License and flexibility for UK travel as required
