Pricing Analyst
Salary starting from £48,712, plus 10% annual bonus potential, 25 days annual leave including bank holidays rising with served and a company pension scheme with highly competitive contribution rates

You will be expected to attend the office 2 days a week.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Pricing Analyst to join our pricing architecture & programmes team at Royal Mail. You will work closely with stakeholders across the Pricing function to deliver valuable pricing insight from data. You will also collaborate with various internal stakeholders across our wider business to maintain a complex suite of models to set and deploy annual pricing changes.
We're looking for someone who is great with numbers and has a strong background in data and analytics. If you're a master with Excel and have experience working with tools such as Tableau, Python, Alteryx, SQL or Google BigQuery we want to hear from you!
About the role
• Uncover pricing value and trends hidden within billions of data points, generating accurate and insightful reports, dashboards, and visualisations to communicate and recommendations.
• Support and develop a suite of models and tools to help deploy price increases to several billion pounds worth of ratecard products.
• Ensure that we are developing optimal pricing to deliver value to both Royal Mail and our customers.
• Bridge the gap between business needs and analytical solutions is key
• Explain your analyses confidently and credibly to others.
About You
• Excellent Excel modelling skills, plus experience with other platforms and languages such as Tableau, Python, Alteryx, SQL or Google BigQuery.
• Ability to examine large data sets, ensuring that numerical work is accurate, consistent with other analysis.
• Maths or highly numerate degree or significant relevant analytical or modelling experience
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, are paramount.
• Great at understanding of stakeholder requirements, building a solid case for the benefits of data-driven transformation, and then delivering on it.
