Job summary Oak Street Medical Practice in Norwich, has an opportunity for a patient care advisor/receptionist to join our team on a part time basis, with suggested hours of 18 per week. This would be 6 hour shifts over three days with school hours being considered. In this essential front-line role at the practice, patient care advisors help patients to access the right services, assist with keeping health records accurate and up-to-date, and ensure that appointment bookings are well-managed. Main duties of the job Greet and direct all patients. Act as first point of contact for patients, providing a welcoming and professional service. Manage appointments, queries and patient records with accuracy and confidentiality. Liaise with clinical staff to ensure the smooth running of daily operations. Deal with requests for information and managing problems and complaints. Advise patients of practice procedures. Register new patients. Answer the telephone, promptly.
