Are you an organised and efficient professional with experience in school administration? We are seeking a confident and friendly School Receptionist/Administrator to join our team and ensure the smooth running of our busy school office.
About the Role:
This role is the heart of our school’s operations, where you’ll be the first point of contact for students, parents, and staff. You’ll provide vital administrative support and ensure that all systems, including SIMS, are used effectively to maintain accurate records and support school processes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage the school’s front desk, greeting visitors and handling enquiries professionally.
2. Use the SIMS system to update and maintain student and staff records.
3. Provide general administrative support, including handling correspondence, organising files, and managing diaries.
4. Support staff with data input, attendance tracking, and reports.
5. Uphold confidentiality and safeguard the school’s policies and procedures.
What We’re Looking For:
1. Previous experience in a school office or a similar environment (essential).
2. Proficiency in using SIMS software (essential).
3. Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. A proactive, can-do attitude and the ability to work independently.
6. An enhanced DBS check on the Update Service.
