Job Title: Account Manager
Location: Loughborough – LE11
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Salary: Up to £40K
The Account Manager is responsible for securing business, maintaining good client relationships, and maximizing revenues and profitability within customer accounts for which you are responsible.
Key Responsibilities of Account Manager:
1. Manage customer accounts for which you are responsible. Set and implement policy within these accounts to maximize revenue and profitability on an international basis.
2. Build and strengthen client relationships to achieve long-term partnerships.
3. Develop a thorough understanding of our products and service offerings to better upsell and cross-sell to clients.
4. Ensure that the offering is defined, is within the capabilities of the Company, and that the client respects the CPA. Push back on the client to ensure that design freeze is respected and that lead time erosion is minimized.
5. Create contact reports and quotations, ensure that Production Orders are raised in a timely manner, and maintain accurate client records.
6. Ensure that a Project Manager is allocated to each project.
7. Take direction from the Project Manager on issues that relate to the achievement of the plan.
8. Follow Company policies and procedures.
9. Ensure any quotation issued is within the Company’s approval procedure and margin policies.
10. Ensure client approval meetings are properly prepared and executed.
11. Ensure that sales administration and record keeping is performed for the accounts for which you are responsible.
12. Ensure that invoices and credit notes (or any instruction/input for their preparation) reflect the contract and resolve invoice queries to reduce debtors.
13. Promote team-working behaviors, communication, professionalism, and a culture of continuous improvement throughout the business and follow company policies.
14. Manage risks and report major risks (and opportunities) to the Managing Director and the board.
Required Skills of Account Manager:
1. Minimum of 3 years experience within Account Management.
2. Retail and POS knowledge is essential.
3. Flexibility of working hours.
4. Works well under pressure.
5. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
