Health and Safety Advisor
We are currently looking to appoint a Health and Safety Advisor at our Market Harborough (Leicestershire) office. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive professional to join an established team and deliver excellent customer service and ongoing support to clients.
The Role:

Provide comprehensive Health & Safety management support to educational establishments and other clients as required.

Assist clients in ensuring their working practices are safe and comply with legislation.
*
Support the development of local policies and procedures.
*
Conduct and support risk assessments.
*
Undertake management audits/reviews, producing reports with suggested improvements.
*
Perform inspections, document findings, and recommend improvements.
*
Support property-related health and safety matters, including fire safety, asbestos, and legionella management.
*
Develop and deliver CPD-accredited health & safety training, including asbestos management, accident investigation, and manual handling.
*
Attend Governor Meetings as required.
*
Conduct and support accident investigations, including report production and RIDDOR reporting.
*
Review and provide guidance on educational visits in line with national guidance.
*
Produce newsletters and bulletins.
Key Skills and Experience:
*
Experience in a similar outsourced health and safety support role.
*
Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in health and safety.
*
NEBOSH qualification or equivalent is required.
*
Comfortable using digital and cloud-based systems.
*
Strong interpersonal skills for client-facing interactions.
*
Team player with a willingness to support the wider team when necessary.
*
Flexibility and adaptability.
*
Full UK driving licence.
