Role Overview:
As a Hardware Electronics Engineer, you will be instrumental in developing hardware solutions that meet rigorous program requirements. Designs must adhere to customer specifications, legislative guidelines, and business needs while maintaining high standards of technical quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement hardware designs based on system requirements.
* Design, analyze, and verify analogue and digital circuits ensuring reliability and cost-effectiveness.
* Document design activities and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
* Collaborate with systems, safety, software, and mechanical engineers to resolve design issues.
* Support production during the introduction of new products and manage component obsolescence.
Essential Skills:
* Proficiency in designing micro-processor circuitry and digital interfaces.
* Experience with analogue signal measurement power supplies and EMC/EMI design.
* Ability to manage PCB layout and maintain engineering documentation.
* Competence in hardware verification and testing.
* Strong teamwork and communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Desirable Skills:
* Experience with Cadence OrCAD Allegro PCB Editor and pSpice.
* Familiarity with TI Hercules and NXP iMX6 microprocessors.
* Awareness of safety and avionic standards.
Working Environment:
You will report to the design lead and project manager working closely with various engineering disciplines.
