Operating in over 100 countries worldwide, with a UK team of over 100 employees, our client offers an extensive range of products found across the foodservice sector, including QSR, pubs, restaurants, hotels, and cafes. Following exceptional sales growth and a highly successful 2023, we are now looking to expand our commercial team by recruiting an experienced Internal Key Account Manager. The Role As part of our internal key accounts sales team, based at our head office, your primary responsibility will be to manage and nurture key national accounts. You will focus on upselling opportunities within existing accounts while maintaining and strengthening client relationships. Key Responsibilities: Conducting account reviews to identify missed sales and potential upselling opportunities while building strong relationships with decision-makers. Collaborating with internal teams and visiting clients at their head office when required. Onboarding new key account customers and managing projects within national accounts. Maintaining the Digital Coffee Smart portals and key account asset registers. Acting as the key liaison between customers and internal teams to resolve day-to-day commercial issues. Providing reports on key account performance and attending review meetings. Ensuring clear communication and coordination with internal departments, including Service, Sales, and Accounts. The Person We are looking for passionate individuals with a strong background in key account management within the foodservice sector. Candidates should have experience managing key accounts, preferably within foodservice manufacturing, whether food or non-food (e.g., equipment). Experience in selling non-food products such as catering or coffee/drinks equipment is highly desirable. Strong problem-solving skills, a proactive approach, and excellent IT proficiency are essential. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate strong organisational, communication, and relationship-building skills, along with experience in project management and commercial decision-making. Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and CRM systems is advantageous. The ability to work flexibly, maintain attention to detail, and meet deadlines under pressure is also key. ADZN1_UKTJ
