We are now recruiting for LGV Class 1 Drivers on a full time, permanent basis based in Newton Abbot.
Salary:
From £13.05 per hour to £19.58 per hour - Depending on shifts and hours.
Job Description
In your role as LGV Driver, you will be operating refrigerated articulated vehicles, delivering and collecting chilled and ambient stock from Local and Regional Distribution Centres as well as local convenience stores for a major retailer.
Shifts:
* Thursday – Monday 04:00 – 06:00 start window
* Saturday - Wednesday 04:00am – 06:00 start window
* Monday - Friday 04:00 – 06:00 start window
* Friday – Tuesday 04:00 – 06:00 start window
* Monday – Friday 15:00 – 18:00 start window
Salary:
* From £13.05 per hour to £19.58 per hour - Guaranteed weekly salaries ranging from £522 to £595 depending on shift pattern with 40 hours per week. Overtime available to meet the needs of the business.
Qualifications
* Possession of LGV Class 1 Licence – Newly qualified drivers welcomed.
* Current CPC
* Knowledge of Road Transport Directive and current drivers hours is desirable but not essential as full training is available if required.
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast paced environment
* Effectively prioritise workload in order to meet set deadlines.
