Job Summary
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Document Controller to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining all project documentation, ensuring that documents are accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible. This role is crucial in supporting project teams by providing timely and efficient document management services.
Duties
1. Organise and maintain project documentation in both electronic and hard copy formats.
2. Ensure all documents are reviewed, approved, and distributed according to company procedures.
3. Implement and maintain document control processes to ensure compliance with industry standards.
4. Collaborate with project teams to gather necessary documentation and ensure proper filing.
5. Track document revisions and updates, ensuring that the latest versions are available to relevant stakeholders.
6. Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations by providing necessary documentation.
7. Conduct regular audits of documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
8. Provide training and support to team members on document control processes.
Requirements
1. Proven experience as a Document Controller or in a similar role within a project-based environment.
2. Strong organisational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
3. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in document management.
4. Proficiency in document management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
5. Familiarity with industry standards related to document control (e.g., ISO 9001).
6. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
7. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
