Salary will be national minimum wage or more dependent on your experience. We are looking for someone with a minimum of 2 years proven experience. Holidays will be 28 days (prorata) per year, inclusive of bank holidays.
The purpose of the role is to operate various blown film lines, and ensure they are running at optimum levels of output and quality.
Upon satisfactory completion of training, responsibilities will include:
The successful candidate will have good time management and organisation skills, works well under pressure and can prioritise effectively to meet time critical deadlines.
Duties
• Set and operate the extrusion machines to produce the film specification specified in the job sheet
• Organise the correct raw materials,
• Monitor the performance of the extrusion machines ensuring maximum output is achieved at all times
• Weigh, record and bail all scrap polythene created for each job over the machines running.
• Record the volume of scrap produced
• For each job you must perform and document all of the relevant quality control checks in line with the quality policy.

• Have a good attitude to attendance.
• Have a reasonable level of physical fitness.
