Salaried GP - Donnington Medical Centre. We are a forward thinking and adaptive General Practice who are seeking to grow our clinical team. We have a diverse workforce of GPs, nurses, ANPs and ACPs, and recognise the value provided by the team, where care is given with GP support and oversight.
Clinical workload is well managed underpinned by sustainable models.

We are interested in applicants at any stage of their GP career, including straight from VTS training. We provide mentoring and support to new GPs and have the experience to provide this. There are also opportunities to develop areas of specialist interest.

JOB TITLE: SALARIED GENERAL PRACTITIONER
REPORTS TO: THE PARTNERS (Clinically) and THE PRACTICE MANAGER (Administratively)
Clinical responsibilities:
* In accordance with the practice timetable, the post-holder will undertake a variety of duties, including surgery consultations, telephone consultations, home visits, and dealing with queries, paperwork, and correspondence in a timely fashion.
* Making professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems.
* Assessing the health care needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems.
* Screening patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness.
* Developing care plans for health in consultation with patients.
* Providing counselling and health education.
* Admitting or discharging patients and referring to other care providers as appropriate.
* Recording clear and contemporaneous consultation notes.
* Compiling and issuing computer-generated acute and repeat prescriptions.
* Prescribing in accordance with the practice prescribing formulary whenever clinically appropriate.
* Undertaking all normal duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care.

* Registered with the GMC listed on the GMC GP Register with evidence of revalidation.
* Accepted Medical Degree.
