Our operation is backed up by our new high-tech Head Office and Distribution centre operating out of Dagenham. The Role: This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Childsplay Clothing Team. We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Buying Admin Assistant with a proven track record in retail. We sell the top luxury brands for Children’s Clothing and Accessories; in this role you will gain experience with internationally recognised Luxury and Premium Brands across clothing, footwear and accessories. Duties and Responsibilities Provide full administrative support to the buyers and management: Work closely with the buyers to manage daily workflow, accurately and quickly perform all tasks given and ensure all systems and records are up to date. Assisting with preparation of sales reports and data analysis for Buyers Managing order confirmations and resolving any discrepancies. Maintain good working relationships with suppliers Requesting and processing collection information from suppliers in order to prepare the buying appointments Supporting the buying team with different projects such as brands research, trends analysis and competitor’s research Working across all areas of the business resolving product queries with other departments Assisting the fashion team with daily tasks Skills Excellent communicator, good written and verbal communication skills Have a good knowledge of the childrenswear industry, especially within the luxury and premium brands Attention to detail and problem-solving skills Good time management having the ability to organise, multitask and prioritise Good MS Office skills, particularly in Excel, PowerPoint & Word Numerical and analytical
