Production Control Team Lead will be responsible for overseeing shift of technicians within the PCS workshop, reporting into the Operations Lead.
As a Production Control Team Lead, you will be responsible for:
1. Ability to lead a team effectively and resolve technical and personal challenges encountered on the shop floor
2. Plan and organise workshop activities to ensure business priorities are met
3. Ability to adjust and coordinate workshop priorities at short notice to meet customer and business needs
4. Collaborating with other departments/functions within the Montrose COE as well as building relationships with the Controls COE at Nailsea
5. Carry out maintenance and repair of technical, mechanical and electrical equipment / production equipment before and after shipment offshore
6. Creating a positive working environment and atmosphere to allow the team to achieve their targets
7. Promote and improve HSE culture on the shop floor
8. Drive a continuous improvement mindset across the whole team to ensure Quality Metrics are reviewed and actions implemented to improve this.
9. Strong knowledge of Subsea Controls Systems, including software / electrical expertise
10. Work closely with Software engineers to diagnose and resolve software issues
11. Proven experience of both mechanical and electrical as a technician or similar
12. Work closely with Ops Lead to ensure shop floor targets are defined and achieved on a daily / weekly basis
13. Provide cover for Ops Lead when they are on leave
14. Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with peers and closely with customers whilst on site
15. Work closely with QC to ensure documentation is signed off and procedures are correctly followed
