As our new Sales Processing Executive, you will be responsible for sales operations activities in both a pre and post-sales environment. You will ensure the thorough review and timely processing of sales operations processes, enabling customer service to facilitate and support customer contacts.
You will support the streamlining and standardisation of Sales Operations processes, with a focus upon process automation including integrations, data entry, and data migration. This in turn supports business transformation and OUP’s Grow, Simplify and Adapt business strategy.
Other duties will include:
1. Process sales operation activities and work streams according to business determined KPI’s and SLA’s: workstreams include but are not limited to payment batching, payment reconciliation activity, order processing and management, online product access activation, query resolution for internal and external customers, general administration and housekeeping.
2. Support members of the Leadership team to review sales operation processes across Divisions, find commonalities, and assist in the development of streamlining processes.
3. Manage Advantage, Sigma and SAMS customer records and proactively ensure that data is clean and accurate.
4. Continually look for sales processing operational efficiencies in BAU within a CIP process.
5. Keep knowledge and skill base active and up to date.
We operate a hybrid working policy that requires a minimum of 2 days per week in the Oxford office. We are ideally looking for candidates who are able to start immediately.
About You
1. Previous experience of working in a high-volume data processing or customer services operation, ideally from within the publishing industry.
2. Ability to prioritise workload and manage time effectively to ensure deadlines are met.
3. Excellent organizational skills, methodical and tenacious.
4. Experience of working in a pro-active team-based environment is desirable.
5. Experience of working with databases or CRM systems at an operational/processing level.
6. Experience in team-based CIP is a bonus.
