The Post
We are seeking an experienced and suitably qualified Senior Leadership Team Administrator/Admissions & General Administrator for an immediate start to provide a confidential and professional service to the Deputy and Assistant Headteachers. You will be supporting the leadership team with the organisation of events, leading in Admissions and providing general admin support to the main office and general teaching body as well as supporting arrangements for staff CPD.
Candidates should possess excellent skills in word/Excel and Outlook and be able to work at pace and under pressure. A willingness to learn other ICT packages is also essential and/or experience with BROMCOM desirable.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate a high level of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality at all times. Knowledge and understanding of the Admissions Code of Practice and other statutory guidance and practice would be desirable.
This is a term time only role with 5staff development days.
Hours are 37 per week, 08.00 – 16.00 Mon – Thurs, 08.00 – 15.30 Fri (to include 30 minutes unpaid lunch break)

The Trust
Barton Court Academy Trust (BCAT) is a multi-academy Trust which was established in 2017.
It currently consists of three secondary schools: Barton Court Grammar School, an 11-18 years, mixed selective school in the heart of Canterbury, rated “Good” with many outstanding features by Ofsted in February 2020; The Charles Dickens School, an 11-16 years mixed non-selective school in Broadstairs, rated “Good” by Ofsted in March 2023 and Barton Manor Free School, an 11–18 years non-selective mixed school in the heart of Canterbury which opened to Year 7 in September 2022 and as the school grows now has Y7, Y8 & Y9from September 2024.
Our School
Barton Manor School, is a non-selective 11-18 school located in Canterbury, a 5 minute walk from Barton Court Grammar School. The School is in its third year of opening, with students in Y7, Y8 & Y9only, and when full it will have a shared Sixth Form provision with Barton Court Grammar School providing a wide-range of vocational and academic courses. We have a vision and a determination to provide our community with an excellent school and we are making great strides towards this.
