Key responsibilities and duties:
1. Technical support and hands on maintenance work as required.
2. To ensure the site is maintained to the agreed standard with the undertaking of planned and reactive service and maintenance, breakdown and fault finding and repair tasks on a range of electrical, mechanical and other services throughout the site.
3. Ensure maintenance and repair of real estate is carried out in a timely, safe and efficient manner.
4. To undertake general maintenance tasks in areas including confined spaces and at height.
5. Ensure all works are carried out in line with industry best practice and comply with the appropriate current regulations.
6. Identify and report any potential efficiency improvements and/or cost reductions in current systems.
7. Co-ordination of activities with other internal and contractor staff where appropriate.
8. Adherence to our Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety Management Systems (SMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and all associated Business Manuals.
9. Be part of an on-call rota.

1. Complete Reactive maintenance to maintain compliance; (e)

1. Contractors and contractor management.
2. Supervision of contractors as required.
3. Business units and all levels of management.
Professional Qualifications/Education and Training:
1. Good organisational skills; (e)
2. Basic understanding of plant and property maintenance; (e)
3. Good understanding of basic engineering principles; (e)
4. Competency with standard MS Office applications; (e)
5. Knowledge of Electrical systems & wiring (d)
6. Knowledge of mechanical systems and machinery; (e)
7. Experience working on commercial or industrial electrical systems (d)
8. Working knowledge of plumbing systems; (d)
9. Working knowledge of carpentry; (d)
10. Good understanding of Safety, Health, Environment and Fire Regulations; (e)
11. Excellent organisational skills / Time management / Ability to prioritise and organise own workload / able to work to deadlines autonomously (e)
12. Driving license; (e)
13. IOSH Managing Safely Course. (d)
14. Interested in further training and development. (e)
15. Fork lift license (d)
16. IPAF (d)
Experience:
1. Two years' experience working in a facilities & Maintenance role (e)
2. Technical/Engineering background (d)
3. Electronic facilities management software e.g. CAFM, Facilities Desk or similar (d)
